NANN CELEBRATES NEONATAL NURSES DAY 2018!

In September, NANN celebrated Neonatal Nurses Day and all neonatal nurses with the theme, "We Save Babies." As neonatal nurses, you go above and beyond to ensure that your patients-and their family members-receive the talented care and compassion they need. The days are long and difficult but immensely rewarding, and we thank you for sharing your healing hands and generous hearts!

In neonatal intensive care units (NICUs) across the world, NANN and neonatal nurses celebrated this amazing profession. Many nurses donned "We Save Babies" and NANN apparel, and hundreds shared testimonial videos and social shout-outs to their profession and photographs of their own Neonatal Nurses Day festivities. Thank you for all you do!

NANN 34TH ANNUAL CONFERENCE RECAP: NANNAHEIM!

NANNAHEIM was simply amazing! Nearly 1000 neonatal nurses took the SoCal city by storm, October 17-20, to learn about trending clinical topics and research, network with neonatal peers and industry experts, and enjoy the local festivities and amenities. It was our best neonatal nursing celebration yet!

Highlights included a late-breaking bonus general session on Minimally Invasive Fetal Surgery for Neural Tube Defects, a late-breaking concurrent session on the Genomics-enabled NICU of the Future, an emotional visit from local NICU families, exciting keynote speakers, and so many opportunities for networking and fun. Attendees danced the night away at NANN After Dark: Luau Style, stayed connected on the conference app, and shared the celebration on social media, keeping neonatal nurses near and far updated on everything NANNAHEIM. Check out NANN's Facebook page for our conference slide show and search #NANNAHEIM on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram to see attendee experiences on social.

The planning committee and the Education Provider Committee have identified the need to cover a wide range of topics that will appeal to both the novice and expert neonatal nurses. As a result, we have provided a list of topics and areas of interest to make the application selection process less cumbersome and more diverse to better meet the educational needs of the conference attendees. The list is not inclusive and is only meant to serve as a guide when submitting your abstract. We encourage you to suggest your own ideas, present your own research findings, or share your knowledge on a topic of interest. Please keep in mind that application submissions should focus on nursing, be state-of-the-art, be evidence-based, and challenge neonatal nurses at all levels of expertise.
