Abstract

Rhabdomyolysis can be a life-threatening disease if not treated immediately. Once the process occurs, several complications both short-term and long-term can develop. The purpose of this article is to educate all types of nurses (particularly critical care nurses because of the life-threatening complications) about the disease process and treatment of rhabdomyolysis.
