November 2019 marks the initiation of the NAON Orthopaedic Excellence Award (ONE) award. Nursing units caring for patients in any setting of Orthopaedics may apply. The ONE Award acknowledges professionalism in nursing practice through demonstration of exemplary care for patients, and achievement in quality outcomes, collaborative interdisciplinary work environments, and professional growth opportunities. Applications will be accepted from November 1st until March 1st 2020. Recipients will be announced at the 40th NAON Congress in Pittsburgh.

Outstanding Orthopaedic Nurse Practice Award submissions will open January 2020.
