Abstract

This article outlines the history and evolution of vision rehabilitation, including service delivery models and the current status of Medicare funding for this rehabilitation. Parallels are drawn between vision rehabilitation and other fields that deal with rehabilitation such as physiatry, geriatrics, and psychiatry.
