Recommendations for improving national nurse preparedness in a pandemic. The Johns Hopkins Center for Health Security has released a report, Recommendations for Improving National Nurse Preparedness for Pandemic Response: Early Lessons from COVID-19, that addresses the challenges nurses have faced in responding to the pandemic. It presents a national framework for pandemic preparedness that includes the roles and responsibilities of government, health systems and organizations, and individuals.
