MANY NURSES on the front lines of the COVID-19 pandemic have dealt with an array of personal mental health issues related to the pandemic, including anxiety, depression, and posttraumatic stress disorder. The following websites can help nurses get the information and help they need.

 

American Holistic Nurses Association

This nonprofit organization works to promote holistic nursing practice, education, and research. Its website offers evidence-based reading material, webinars, and other resources to help nurses learn about strategies for self-care and stress management.

 

American Nurses Association (ANA)

As the nation's largest grassroots mental health organization, NAMI offers resources for a wide range of mental health issues. The NAMI HelpLine (1-800-950-6264) provides callers with free referral information and support Monday through Friday from 1000 to 2100.
