Abstract
Abstract: Nursing student failure affects the number of nurses prepared to enter practice. Currently, there is a dearth of literature examining program factors that influence clinical failure. This survey of nursing directors used multiple linear regression to determine if the percentage of adjunct faculty, the number of simulation hours, and the number of clinical hours affect clinical failure rates. The results of the study showed a positive correlation between each of the independent variables and the percentage of student clinical failures.
