Abstract

Early PTSD assessment, particularly for low–social support new-diagnosed patients, is crucial for timely intervention. Psychiatric referrals can guide specialized treatments. Stressing social support’s role can guide healthcare providers, including oncology nurses, in supporting patients effectively.
