Abstract

Following PRISMA guidelines, a systematic review was conducted to analyze the association between spirituality and quality of life among primary informal caregivers of patients with cancer. Of six studies eligible for review after searching in PubMed, Web of Science, EBSCO, and LILACS databases, five found a positive relationship between spirituality and caregiver quality of life, particularly in mental health. Overall, spirituality was linked to improved quality of life, highlighting its potential as a coping strategy for caregivers. Nursing implications of caring for informal caregivers are presented.
