Abstract

Depth and tension location were identified as the most influential factors in promoting central tension, whereas slope and depth most influenced peripheral tension. These findings further our understanding of the 5 main characteristics of convexity and may assist with appropriate selection of convex skin barriers for a person living with an ostomy.
