How many patients have you seen in the last month with a latex allergy? How many co-workers have developed a latex allergy? Find out the challenges faced by this nurse after developing anaphylaxis to latex, including learning how to continue living with the constant fear of another emergency room visit with respiratory distress. As 20 percent of hospital personnel have a latex allergy, changes need to occur to help patients feel comfortable in the hospital.
