This series of articles from AJN won the 2018 ASHPE Bronze Award for Best Special Supplement and were developed with our partners at AARP Public Policy Institute and University of California-Davis to help nurses provide family caregivers with tools to manage their loved one’s health care at home. They continue the format of evidence-based articles for nurses, including “Tips for Teaching Caregivers” and links to demonstration videos for family caregivers. Videos are also available in Spanish and Chinese and are available on the Home Alone Alliance Web site.

Professional Partners Supporting Diverse Family Caregivers Across Settings

This three-part article-video series, designed to help nurses help caregivers, builds on the work addressed in AJN's September 2008 State of the Science report, Professional Partners Supporting Family Caregivers (see below). It is part of a joint initiative, "Professional Partners Supporting Diverse Family Caregivers Across Settings," and was funded by the Jacob and Valeria Langeloth Foundation in collaboration with the AARP Foundation.
