Abstract

Innovative produce marketing and retailer promotion efforts can influence consumer decisions and purchasing practices for fruits and vegetables. Promotions aimed at increasing fruit and vegetable purchases, including roadside billboards, in-store sales, and direct coupon mailings based on purchase practices positively affect fruit and vegetable purchases among consumers.
