Nurses make up the largest segment of health care providers in the United States. We are with patients, providing care, education, and support, 24 hours each day. We have a unique perspective on the needs of patients and the public to achieve and maintain wellness. It is for this reason that we must be involved in decision-making – whether in a clinical location, corporate setting, or public arena. Our voices are important and to be heard, we must claim our seat at the tables.
