Nurses on Boards

NOBC_10_Year_Anniversary.png Nurses on boards make a difference by sharing our unique perspective and influencing decisions. Nurses make up the largest segment of health care providers in the United States. We are with patients, providing care, education, and support, 24 hours each day. We have a unique perspective on the needs of patients and the public to achieve and maintain wellness. It is for this reason that we must be involved in decision-making – whether in a clinical location, corporate setting, or public arena. Our voices are important and to be heard, we must claim our seat at the tables.

Wolters Kluwer is proud to support the Nurses on Boards Coalition (NOBC) as a Founding Strategic Partner. The NOBC “represents national nursing and other organizations working to build healthier communities in America by increasing nurses’ presence on corporate, health-related, and other boards, panels, and commissions.” For additional information on how to get involved with NOBC, please visit: http://nursesonboardscoalition.org.
