
The Aon Property & Casualty Insurance Program is pleased to offer the Aon Quality Institute. This web-based risk management tool is educational, user-friendly, and easily accessible. Property/Casualty insureds are eligible to receive a credit on their general liability/professional liability premium after they have successfully met the requirements in completing the two required courses. New courses for 2024 are: (1) Managing Social Media Use and Privacy and (2) Addressing Resident Complaints and Escalating Behaviors.
Participants will earn continuing education credits toward their professional license as modules are certified for credit to the following professions: registered nurse, licensed practical nurse, nursing assistant, nurse practitioner, physical therapist, and occupational therapist.
For your convenience, the course material on this page is designed for use in a classroom setting. Follow the directions to download materials and send your facility's completed tests for grading & processing.

Independent learning (without computer access): This option for completing the Aon Quality Institute modules is intended for facilities where computer access is NOT available to employees. Site coordinators: print and distribute handouts and test/enrollment forms for offline independent learning.
Independent or Classroom-style learning (with computer access): This option for completing the Aon Quality Institute modules is intended for facilities where a conference or training room, or independent area with computer (including speakers) and internet access are available. Site coordinators: click on the module link below labeled, “Interactive” to access courses which include audio and video enhancements.
1. Download Materials
− Download and make copies of the course materials associated with the level* of the employees that require risk management education in your facility.
− Each employee must complete two courses in their level to meet the educational requirements of Aon Quality Institute.
2. Retain a Copy
−After training or independent learning, the site coordinate collects all completed test/enrollment forms from employees.
− Make a photocopy of each form and retain as a reference.
3. Submit Originals for Processing
− Fax all the test/enrollment forms to Lippincott Williams & Wilkins at (855) 800-9302.
Employee Levels* |
Senior Management: CEO, President, Executive Director, Administrator, HR Officer, CFO, Chief of Operations, Medical Director, Risk Manager/Chief Risk Officer.
Middle Management: Director of Nursing, Safety/Maintenance/Engineering Director, Activity Director, Food Service Director, Physical Therapy Director, Volunteer Director and other department directors/managers.
Line Staff: Registered nurses, licensed vocational nurses or licensed practical nurses, housekeeping, dieticians, social workers and other line staff positions.
Direct Care Staff: Line Staff positions that provide direct care to residents, such as: nursing staff, certified nurse assistants, dieticians, social workers, etc.
Indirect Care Staff: Line Staff positions that do not provide direct care to residents, such as: health information/medical records, housekeeping, maintenance, kitchen, etc.

4. Notification of Results
− Results for faxed test forms will be sent to the site coordinator within three (3) to five (5) business days of submission date.
− Site coordinators are responsible for informing employees of their pass/fail status.
5. Failed Tests and Retake Procedure
− Employees who failed are permitted to retake the test up to 3 times for a total of 4
submissions. It is strongly recommended that employees review the education
materials before retaking the test.
